SV	Toen nam Gideon tien mannen uit zijn knechten, en deed, gelijk als de HEERE tot hem gesproken had. Doch het geschiedde, dewijl hij zijns vaders huis en de mannen van die stad vreesde, van het te doen bij dag, dat hij het deed bij nacht.
WLC	וַיִּקַּ֨ח גִּדְעֹ֜ון עֲשָׂרָ֤ה אֲנָשִׁים֙ מֵֽעֲבָדָ֔יו וַיַּ֕עַשׂ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלָ֖יו יְהוָ֑ה וַיְהִ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יָרֵא֩ אֶת־בֵּ֨ית אָבִ֜יו וְאֶת־אַנְשֵׁ֥י הָעִ֛יר מֵעֲשֹׂ֥ות יֹומָ֖ם וַיַּ֥עַשׂ לָֽיְלָה׃
Trans.	wayyiqq^aḥ giḏə‘wōn ‘ăśārâ ’ănāšîm mē‘ăḇāḏāyw wayy^a‘aś ka’ăšer diber ’ēlāyw JHWH wayəhî ka’ăšer yārē’ ’eṯ-bêṯ ’āḇîw wə’eṯ-’anəšê hā‘îr mē‘ăśwōṯ ywōmām wayy^a‘aś lāyəlâ:

AC	כז ויקח גדעון עשרה אנשים מעבדיו ויעש כאשר דבר אליו יהוה ויהי כאשר ירא את בית אביו ואת אנשי העיר מעשות יומם--ויעש לילה
ASV	Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as Jehovah had spoken unto him: and it came to pass, because he feared his father's household and the men of the city, so that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
BE	Then Gideon took ten of his servants and did as the Lord had said to him; but fearing to do it by day, because of his father's people and the men of the town, he did it by night.

ELB05	Und Gideon nahm zehn Männer von seinen Knechten und tat, so wie Jehova zu ihm geredet hatte. Und es geschah, da er sich vor dem Hause seines Vaters und vor den Leuten der Stadt fürchtete, es bei Tage zu tun, so tat er es bei Nacht.
LSG	Gédéon prit dix hommes parmi ses serviteurs, et fit ce que l'Eternel avait dit; mais, comme il craignait la maison de son père et les gens de la ville, il l'exécuta de nuit, et non de jour.
Sch	Da nahm Gideon zehn Männer aus seinen Knechten und tat, wie der HERR ihm gesagt hatte; weil er sich aber fürchtete, solches bei Tag zu tun, vor seines Vaters Hause und vor den Leuten der Stadt, tat er es bei Nacht.
