perfect ἀνῄρηκα (ἀνειρ-uncertain in “Comica Adespota” 18.6D.): (see. αἱρέω) : — take up, ἀνελόντες ἀπὸ χθονός having raised the victim from the ground, so as to cut its throat (compare αὐερύω), Odyssea Homerus Epicus “Odyssey” 3.453.
