adverb completely, and, of numbers, exactly, just, ἡμέραι ἀ. ἐνενήκοντα Herodotus Historicus 5.53, compare 2.158; φρόνιμος ὢν ἀ. ταύτης τῆς τέχνης Teleclides Comicus 37; ἀ. ἐναρμόζειν πρός τι Hippocrates Medicus “περὶ ἄρθρων ἐμβολῆς” 73: of Time, ἀ. ἐν καιροῖσι.. prev. author “Acut.” 41.
__II just the contrary, τί.. ἀποτίνειν τῷδ᾽ ἀξιοῖ;—ἀ. δή που προσλαβεῖν παρὰ τοῦδ᾽ ἐγὼ μᾶλλον on the contrary, I expect to receive.., Pherecrates Comicus 93, compare 71, Aristophanes Comicus “Plutus” 388.
