later συμφῠτ-φύνω “CR” 33.5 (near Antioch) :— make to grow together, unite a wound, Diodorus Siculus Historicus 32.11 (conjecture), Dioscorides (Dioscurides) Medicus 1.128; σ. τὰ ὁμογενῆ Aristoteles Philosophus “Meteorologica” 378b15 ; σ. τοὺς ἄνωθεν ὀδόντας imagine them unite into one, prev. author “PA” 659b24 ; σ. τινὰς εἰς φιλότητα unite them, Plato Philosophus “Epistulae” 323b: but συμφῦσαι in prev. author “Smp.” 192e is f.l. for{συμφυσῆσαι}.
