  later ἀπονευρ-νίπτω D.S 4.59, Plutarchus Biographus et Philosophus “Phocion” 18, and once as variant in Homerus Epicus , see below:— wash off, ἀπονίψαντες.. βρότον ἐξ ὠτειλῶν Odyssea Homerus Epicus “Odyssey” 24.18), compare Ilias Homerus Epicus “Illiad” 7.425 (tmesis) :—middle, wash off from oneself, ἱδρῶ πολλὸν ἀπονίζοντο θαλάσσῃ prev. work 10.572.
